Just starting out with blogging.I want to test my skill in writing content that can pull organic traffic and in ranking before moving to the next step.Can this mysite.blogspot.com work and make money?Thanks

Ofcourse its possible to make money with Blogspot or Wordpress. But you'll have to get traffic! Browse the forum for tuts about keyword research and SEO. Take the most easiest niche or the niche you like (which is harder). And write articles based on the keyword.

eventually find a good (aged) domain.
