So, I have this website (blog) about health (also, a hosting on Hostgator). Have some free time, but no idea how to monetize it. Any suggestions?

Also, I'm looking for a coach who's making about 1k - 2k a month and could coach me on how they are making money. I'm willing to pay 10% of their monthly income for consultations (maybe more if given information will make serious income). PM me.

What went wrong with Fiverr? If you're creating a blog then just write a lot of unique content and add Adsense but don't really worry about monetizing until you're getting visitors. Focus on getting visitors THEN getting money.

Does backlinking to your domain name help if you don't have a host?

I'm an affiliate for a camsite, traffic is coming in but i would like to rank my site on google if that is possible to get more traffic.
I just linked my domain name to my affiliate website right now.
The name of my website is pretty specific but there is a small website that almost has the same name as mine and is ranked in google.
I would like to outrank that website and i thought backlinking to my domain name would help?
 
You can build backlinks for your domain, but I dont know if you can rank a site with only redirection, if it hasnt got content. My domain had a lot backlinks, but it was not indexed. Can any better SEO man help him?

just read full msg, domain is not important as content, if you build more backlinks for domain and content ya will crasgmh that competitor. Good luck.

What would be your suggested ways to monetize the site? I am having a hard time selling in text links which is my ideal method. I don't want to hurt the quality of the website. Taking any and all ideas - thanks!

Well best options would be selling ads to other people or placing adsense ads on your site.
 
i appreciate you keeping the thread alive by answering questions for all this time for us noobs , ive been thinking of the cpa + youtube method , the one thing i hate though was that google's youtube keyword tool was blah? i know you can try and seo optimise your videos for the search engine searches with low competition , but i noticed video marketing blaster allows you to do this for youtube searches .My question is i have a little money to invest and was thinking about getting videomarketing blaster ,is it still effective for youtube keyword research ? and what other factor besides description, tags ,title needs to be optimised to rank the video do we need backlinks or social bookmarks too ? been lurikng since october 2012 ready to take action ...now
 
Why it shouldn work? read at google more :) I saw cracked version from other forum too.. And my MVB is cracked too, but works 100%, after I earn enought money, I will donate to inventors. You must add fake views subscribers likes comments for ranking your video. And with tools you can easily build backlinks, which will help ya in ranking too
btw I bought YT views from hvp17 , and the quality is amazing :D or ya can try getting that stuff for free.

well, adsense would disapprove your site from adsense due their TOS. You might sell backlinks, use other ads siles like adhitz, or sell ads for other site.

sry, they would accept you, didnt see that itis a blog.

You've had a good sugestion for lietuvis but you should also consider iframing traffic to other sites or either sending visitors to CPA offers or having submits on the actual site.
 
I am a noob.

Though even if I was an expert, I fell there is always something new to learn.

This thread is full of decent tips, that many could learn from.

I would like to thank all those that have aided this thread.
