Where to post my premium article ?

I have a very good article about one product, what is the best option to get traffic on it :

- tumblr + seo
- squidoo + seo
- blogger + seo ?
- article base ?
- my own website ?

Obviously your own website, as you will have more flexibility, you could use the rest to target longtails submitting newer versions of your articles to them. Link back to your own website from them.

The thing with third party sites is that,they could simply remove your posts without any prior notice, leaving you with no choice but to start all over again.

Own site first of course. Get all the credit to your site. Syndicate it to the other properties linking back to your original source (once it is indexed on your site).

you are right but it's harder to rank my own website especially when it's new

that's OK.... even the syndicated post will get indexed on the other properties... if you really want to do it properly, manually spin the original and post to all the others.... by manual spin, I mean every single spin must be completely readable. It's a lot easier to go in and add variations on the word, sentence, and paragraph level to produce unique content than it is to manually write 10, 20, 50 articles.... done correctly you can use the same article many many times over and have perfectly readible 100% unique content on all the properties.... your site is usually the long term goal, but that does all depend on what you are aiming for.

no, not at all. look at it as trying to get as many chances of ranking as possible with as many properties as you can. Throw a big net, and you will catch some fish

If you are talking one article and you don't plan on writing more, I'd say blogger. I've got one article blogs onto page one twice recently without much effort at all. But you are gonna write more, then your own site.

Yes i don't plan to write more about this, that's why maybe it don't worth the coast of a .com.

if you have premium article just guest post on high PR blog and get backlink from homepage of that blog to your website

Yes...I just bookmarked mine through SocialMonkee, then made about 8 web 2.0s pointing to it on sites like Tumblr, wordpress.com, blog.co.uk, etc. using a very well spun article, but a different article from the original one published on the Blogspot. (I put my main KW is the Blogger title too).

Now I am adding a link here and there using sites like Pinterest, List.ly, Bagtheweb - stuff I can do that only takes a few minutes per link. My accounts on these sites are "real" - as in I use them regularly like a normal user would and not just to promote my own stuff.

I haven't tried it using Tumblr for the main article - I guess I just assume Blogspot has more weight because it is owned by GG.

I plan to do this also, take a blogger a money site, the content will be quality and legit so there is no way that it will be deleted ...

I don't honestly know because on hrefs it only a shows a couple of them as indexed.

But as I have made more links it goes higher, so something is happening regardless of hrefs results. So I prefer to just spend a bit of time building more links here and there rather than checking stuff which might not be giving me all the details.

Put your premium article in your website. Then make new versions of it or have it rewritten. Then post those articles in tumblr, squidoo, etc linking back to your own website.
