Report option below rep comments

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if this was a good idea.
Lately there have been too many (and I mean too many) threads popping about being unfairly repped or neg repped.
So I was wondering if there could be a report this comment option below the rep comments?
As Jr.VIPs, we are able to see who neg repped us and who +repped. But the regular members can't. And there's no way we can give them the privelage lol .

Merits :

Would prevent lots of newbies as well as regular members from ranting about their rep.

Demerits :

Lots of users (especially noobs) would hit the report option for each and every neg rep. It's upto you guys to add your own suggestions.

While this may be a good idea on the surface, I think that if a user actually contributes and adds value to the forum then he won't have to worry about neg rep. Plus it's been said a million times, rep is meaningless. It doesn't put food on the table.

People don't get lots of negative reps for no reason, so if someone has a really low rep, he most likely deserves it.

Perhaps give JR Vip's the option to dispute neg rep with the one who gave it to him.

Like Rokebono said the MODs are busy as it is. Also, this will give the members an excuse to make a fuss. We shouldn't have to compromise in order to manage the problem, instead if all the "I'm crying because I got neg rep threads" were completely ignored then the problem would slowly fade away.

Of course if you're repeatedly being negged for no reason then you can PM a MOD but really, I don't think we should pander to the people that feel opening a thread is going to help anything.

Therefore I'd say leave them to cry by themselves and eventually they'll got on with making money.

rep is not meaning less when i was with -130 rep no one liked to jv with me .
like oldsalt said " instead -repping noobs for there stupid questions we should post the answer or reason why the question is dumb , a 2 lines reply will take same time we use to rep .

Got Neg rep for giving euro to usd conversion,metric to english system

Got Neg rep for making a thread about getting an apartment with IM style income and bad credit(it was a useless thread according to the person that neg rep me)
Got Neg rep for basically saying that the "German cars are best" is just marketing bs,even though most reports show cars by Japanese companies are the more reliable
Got Neg rep for suggesting Texas is a good place in the U.S. for IM(lower apartment rates and verizon fios is there)
Got Neg rep for wanting to help farmers in need

Sorry bro, but I ultimately come here to learn and enjoy, and the reputation doesn't matter for me. I try not judging the person by some stats. If you take this in account, then I don't find any reason to hack a default vbulletin module. Nothing against the idea though, it is pretty unique for sure!

I thought user levels under jr.vip don't see rep points anyway? I guess it's hard to moderate because rep+- represents the giver point of view so what you write can be ok for someone, great for another and extremely bad for someone else.

I don't think the mods of the forum need any extra work over something as trivial as neg rep. It must be hard enough keeping the idiots out, which they do a great job of.
