i am working on a project presently. I building a community base site for a city in my country, this is not like fb but will take some features from fb. And i think if the site structure looks way different from fb, it will surely benefict it success. This is because users will not think this is another fb.
However, my site will be the No 1 go to place for the city i am building it, it will surely include lots of stuffs happening within the city. I need more ideas if you do not mind. i already started with how the Navigation of the site will look like and stuffs like that. The site will be built with python on Django framework.
Any idea of what to add or remove or improve on. There's no going back on this project, i bought domains already and hope to build more of such for cities in my country after the first one. Please need your contribution if you do not mind.
