Did you use more of a niche or just general hollywood, celebrity, news, type stuff?

My site is about funny things, pics, video etc. But the CTR of image traffic is rather low. I changed the placment of my ads, and I got 4 clicks till now from 5000+ unique visitors. A bit better than yesterday, but still not good eough.

I tried submitting pictures to Reddit in the pics sections and they never showed up on the "new" or "rising" or "general" sections of it. It shows in my profile but never comes on the the board for others to view. Anyone else have this problem?

finding pics from stumbleupon and then getting proxies and registering reddit accounts and then thumbing your posts up and others down and repeatedly doing this over and over - DOES NOT equal autoblogs.

Now, I have a question about the techniques used for acquiring traffic, and I don't know if it's a bit off topic, but maybe you can answer me anyway?

I understand that Google will get mad and ban you if it's an autoblog with copied content, but what if you have your own original blogs?

Let's say I have two blogs that I actually enjoy writing and posting in, and it's all unique content. Could these techniques be used for traffic, in combination with adsense, without risking getting banned from Google Adsense?

I don't really get the whole thing about not posting an article to a million directories, as long as it's unique, or not driving too much traffic to a site? Isn't the whole idea from Google that they want to display their ads? Why would I have to worry if I have legitimate sites? Or am I completely wrong here?

Are you using CC or WP-o-matic?

yes, I used both. Firstly I used CC to build some basic content, since it can let me change the post date. I set the post date from Mar 2008 to Feb 2009 and generated 250+ posts, so that the my new blog looks content rich and very natural. But the quality of the content from CC is not so high, so then I also used WP-O-Matic to get some good content from the feeds I found. After all these are done, I go to get some interesting pics to post on reddit. 11000+ unique visits from only 2 pics and one hour work is always fantastic

My guess is that you should be fine, they came from reddit to your site, them some of them clicked on ads. As long as your blog isn't too sspammy and your CTR is OK.

I also used WP-O-Matic to get some good content from the feeds I found.

Just a little note for those of you who are looking for a webhost:
I am also adding my 2c about Hostgator = They SUCK!
Big time!

I used to be with them for couple of years, they "used" to be good - the bigger they got the worst service they got. More and more limitation, disabling your scripts Without ever telling you, or not allowing some scripts, straight lying etc etc. Not to mention hackers attacks.
I have had so many support tickets for the first couple of 2008, that in August I called it quit and moved my sites.

Not to mention, for That price they are charging for their shit-addon-domains you can have a True Multisite hosting with your own WH Manager and each site with own Cpanel, so you can manage is as You wish.

I did, it should be http://yourblog.com/feed but I have nothing there. I've added the RSS widget and all, but it's not showing up, I've must have missed something.

SMB, try "feedburnerfeedsmith plugin" in your WP blog, activate it, go to Feedburner (you need to register) and burn your WP URL to get the RSS URL and finally paste that generated or 'burnt' RSS URL from Feedburner back into your "feedburnerfeedsmith plugin" set up in WP. Save the settings, and there you go. The RSS link in your WP blog should now redirect to the Feedburner syndication stuff. Hope this helps.

I did the steps, posting to reddit, and from around 100-200 views.. to up to 1000 views!.. but i have to post there quite often tho.. and people actually knows that i just autoblog.. well ill play around with it more then..
