Do mobile views still work on YouTube?

Today I quickly set up a software in C# to emulate mobile views on my YT videos, but so far it hasn't gotten me any views. I've built a similar software in the past, which worked as expected. My question is do mass mobile views still work with YouTube (I'm not asking about their effects on rankings, etc.), but can you still inflate views with them, and is anyone using this method right now? I don't know if I should experiment further or give up on this one. All answers are appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think he is doing from the same IP. Anyway, a few weeks ago I read an article talking about this and seems that YouTube already fixed this issue. By the way, a lot of SONY, Warner, Vevo artists had millions of views removed for manipulating the numbers.

Android programming is also helpful but you can't relay on few IP.

Yes, I was looking to generate views without using a lot of IPs (the reason why I tried mobile views in the first place), but since this has been patched, it wouldn't be practical or even feasible to get mass views, especially that Google knows about most, if not all public proxies. Thanks for saving me some time!
