I did not understand what he said. I already checked the ranking difficulty. Thats what this post is about. Its frickin difficult! I already know that.
Ok. I did some further checking. There are some three work phrases I might be able to donimate. I did not find them before.

Why are you referring to results in regards to how difficult it'd be to rank?
You need to be using GKWT to see how many searches it has in the Broad/Exact category to get a fair understanding.

What site/application for YT Keyword Tool are you using to find how many YOUTUBE searches it is getting per month? Or, even your YT-related SEO strategy can be misguided? Are you really new in the field of YT-related SEO field? (I'm not questioning your normal SEO related skills here, remember that. It's about your YT-related SEO skills...

I am a kid when it comes to SEO, but I do have something to say here. Instead of looking at the keyword competition, why not try to provide the best value to the searchers? I have recently seen an official video from google which totally makes sense to me. I am not trying to be a guru here, but trying to suggest something that makes sense. Check this one out!

The "got to do a million backlinks" was slowly but surely imprinted in IM-ers minds by WSO people and backlinks providers. The saying: "If there is no market, create one" applies to this backlink-mania.
Few know that you can rank above a site that has 10k backlinks with a few hundreds high quality links from PR2+ websites. Throw in a few HQ EDU backlinks and contextual relevant wikis and you're golden. Of course minimum onsite SEO is required, including internal page linking (extremely important).
NOTE that I said both times HIGH QUALITY backlinks...not your usual fiverr gig or spammed networks!

I am using the google KW tool. The word Minecraft has over 18 million searches per month. There are other two combose I would mention, but they get over 500k per month.
Yes, this makes sense. it is #1 on my list, BUT, the others have good content too. And my fear is that even if my content is good, no one will find me cuz the search results are too crowded with the big boys.
But i am learning a few things from the people here. I am less scared today that I was yesterday.

I will look at that.
Also i noticed that the TY channels that are at the top have about 15 to 20 referring domains and about 500 to 900 backlinks. They all have about that. Does that matter? Do backlinks matter to You Tube?

But why do you say a KW that has millions of searches is easier? because it means more people are searching? Is it a ratio of people searching to people providing thing?

If your not ready to shoot for the big keywords don't! Just try out the waters with some small keywords then dive in balls deep in a big keyword!
I dropped $150 2 weeks ago on a video and managed to rank it for a large yt kw with 12million other results (50k monthly searches on YouTube alone), sure it was tough but once you have the method down pat you simply repeat the process for each video/keyword.
