Spying on Website(s) ?

HI Friends,

Other than Google or Spyfoo, does anyone know how to track a website to see where they are advertizing?

I know that i can do a google search for www.xyz.com....but not sure how accurate this is after page 3 of google.

Lets say you wanted to find out where a competitor was advertizing there website....what tool or technique could you use to find out where they are advertising?

interesting query...the answer can definitely be used in a variety of ways

ALEXA website will show you some insights into advertising by websites (keywords, spend, etc.)
- take it with a grain of salt, I believe ALEXA gets their data from many sources, including their "toolbar"
- I've also noticed that ALEXA seems to put in a "trap street" (look it up) in results sometimes for keywords, probably to ward off scrapers...

there is no tool that offers you the complete package. semrush is good to give you an overview

Acutally....my method is simply "typing in the website address like "www.legalzoom.com" into the search engine and seeing the results.

I'm coming up with 1m plus Links....is this possible?

Do you think that is a legitimate way of tracking links?
