So I've seen numerous sellers on ebay selling lifeproof case REPLICA OR OEM and clearly state this in the listing. Is this a violation of their VERO POLICY. I mean they are telling you these aren't authentic so would that be a violation and if it is why hasn't ebay cancelled these listings. Its hundreds of them on EBAY. Just thinking bout giving it a shot but don't want Ebay to ban my account. What do you guys think or do you know of a way around this! Clearly 30 buck for a 75 dollar case can't be real.

99% of them are fake but ebay doesn't have then means to go in to every seller's house and check their stash of lifeproof cases. the only way that ebay will keep an eye on your account is if someone reports your item as a fake or if lifeproof reports your item to ebay. in either case ebay will delete the listing and send you a warning.

Most probably they are replica. Perhaps you can head over to Lifeproof site and check with them if they have any authorized eBay resellers. Similarly for another brand like SPIGEN SGP, they have appointed resellers. That being said, if you're an offline reseller you can also sell on eBay, so perhaps look at their positive reviews before making purchase.

Most on ebay are fake i did buy one from someone who didnt know what they were doing and got lucky.

you do that and your basically taking a step closer to getting your ebay account banned. i did that and my listings were removed etc got warned and close to getting banned super close. I see thousands of people on ebay do this exact same thing whatever....... now some are even saying waterproof,dust,shock etc and not putting in lifeproof at all or showing it at all to get away with it.

2. eBay is a giant but it is not all powerful and cannot track and keep account of everything that goes on.

There's so much fake/replicas on ebay that Im starting to believe ebay doesnt care (they're making money off fees). As long as the company that owns the product isnt flagging it then I guess they just turn a blind eye to it.

I'm not speaking the gospel here, nor am I proclaiming to be an expert on this, but I've read (somewhere) that as long as you don't say anywhere in the description that a product is authentic and clearly state that the product is a replica, or second quality, etc, then it's ok to sell that product. I could be wrong, and probably am, but I'm just saying what I've read in the past.

Yes most of the ones you see on ebay are not real. VERO hasnt seen there listing yet or hasnt had to the opportunity too, but once they do they will remove your listing

This is true up to a point. It just all depends on how your selling as well. Lets say you have 0 feedback and you list 5 lifeproof cases, then sure enough VERO will take you down with no questions asked, even after there sold. But say you have 30+ Feedback and you sell 1-2 a week, you have alot better shot of not getting caught selling VERO items.

Of course my advice is to never sell vero items but if your going to do it there are better ways to do it. They best way to sell high risk items is 1-2 in a week. But say you have 5-10 stealth accounts running, with feedback, you can now sell 10-20 a week. While letting your accounts cool off. You need to also mix up your sales with low risk items. But of course you always run into the risk of the items becoming VERO!

This is alot better advice in my opinion. Everything is says is completely true. You just really have to becareful when selling VERO items, it is very risky
