What are authority blogs?

Hello people,
Wanted to know what are authority blogs or authority sites. I found many people here in BHW talking about having authority blogs for long term earnings. Please let me know what is it and how do they help in long term earnings. I searched on Google , but couldn't find anything about it.

Dare to share this, An authority site is a site which has number of pages ranked for numerous keywords. This site do not rely on ranking for one keyword or even just a few. An authority website includes all important aspects of a particular niche. It has a natural link profile and original content. Generally, An authority site is a high page rank site. If you have an authority site, people begin to trust you and follow your recommendations. Your conversion rate soars and daily income becomes a real for a long time.

To be short the authority blogs are the one which has good PA, DA, good indexing rate. they will using optimized keywords. the blogs will be well exposed to on page and off page facotrs authority blogs will also have traffic with good visitor's rate. obviously their ranking will also be high

An authority site is a very high quality website that is respected by knowledgeable people in its industry. It is a website that has content on it that is so good and makes the site so useful that people are actually glad they landed on it and happy to share it with their friends.

everyone has a different opinion regarding "authority". but I guess if ur site does not have at least 50- 100 pages it cannot be considered as authority

I don't think the term "authority" is measured by the number of pages you got. Let's say you are good at brainstorming and are able to create 100 pages for one large niche (i.e. health) in under a week. Does this mean you now have an authority site? I doubt so.

An authority site is an accepted source of "expert" advice or information. Those sites are often linked to and referenced on other websites which is covering the same subject matter or they even may linking to each other and they also have hundreds if not thousands of pages covering that subject matter.

An authority site is also focusing on relevant content, links and all advertising should pertain to the "theme" of the site.

Credibility is everything. An authority site needs to put the visitors first with good content.
