youtube thumb up and down ranking

hey blackhaters,

so i have one video on first page of google 2nd result witch brings in good money but i started to get some thumbs down.
so i thought about turning likes off so no more thumbs up or down so my question is will this hurt my rankings if i turn it off ?

You really shouldn't do that.
Video that tun of ratings are usually the ones which have the most hate on them.
I suggest you try to compensate the down votes with upvotes instead of removing them entirely.

turning off the rating has nothing to do with ranking but with video reputation.

Down votes or dis-likes won't bring your rankings down. Look at Justin Bieber's Baby, it has a dislike bar like Darth Vader's light saber and it still ranks top for gay videos.
