Did I do something wrong? I've tried with Mirc and everything, I can't seem to get in. I always get greeted with the friendly message:
You are not welcome on this server: Nerp. Email [email protected] for more information
Is there an issue with my IP? Do some people just not like me?

I still haven't sorted it yet dude. I suspect my IP has been blacklisted somewhere.
I haven't tried running it in TOR yet, but I see no reason it wouldn't work.

TOR wont work, you'll be blocked. Try losing the proxy and connecting.
