Difference between strikezone.com and strikeszone.com in terms of SEO

As the title of the thread states ->(I've chosen these domain names as an example and these are not actually the domain names that i want) strikezone.com vs strikeszone.com -> what is the difference in terms of seo between these 2?

Strikezone.com is $3000 at Godaddy Premium
Strikeszone.com is $10

I'm not going to pay $3k to buy the strikezone.com so what is left for me to do is to buy strikeszone.com

I want to build an authority blog in a particular niche and I'd like to know how will affect if someone will buy the strikezone.com and will build a similar blog?

But if you dont get the domain quick, you may not have strikeszone too. There are people lurking here in bhw all day

anyways there is no difference in term of SEO you can rank any domain

With my very little knowledge, strikezone.com will receiveadvantage on strikezone keyword and strikeszone.com will receive advantage on strikeszone keyword. Now with a single S difference both keyword may have different global or local monthly searches.

As you stated to build an authority site , i don't think in the long run it will effect that much according serp .

The keywords that are in the domain (strikezone and strikeszone) have no searches according to G kw tool.
the main words:
strike (this is just an example) receives 600k global monthly searches and 300k local monthly searches
strikes (this is just an example) receives 600k global monthly searches and 400k local monthly searches

What do you guys suggest me to do?

It depends. Both are workable IMO, ApplesZone is not a bad name, compared to AppleZone, you can make both be successful IMO. It appears you can't register strikezone so I'd go with strikeszone and try to do a good job promoting it.

yeah but there is a difference between strikezone.com and strikeszone.com and considering the fact that strikezone.com is too expensive for my current budget my only option is to buy strikeszone.com .... i want to build and authority around strikeszone.com and the question is, what happens when someone will buy strikezone and will do the same thing as me?

I don't really know what to say but I guess its a good choice even if you chose the domain with "s", strikeszone. I dont know what are the actual keywords that you decided to go after but I think its all about how it sounds when you pronounce it...

Well you don't really have a choice if you can't afford the $3000 price but also I think that even if you could afford it the domain without the "s" would be a waste of money.

Get the strikeszone domain and use the saved money to build the site!
