Hey,

In real serious matter i would like to hear your suggestions/answers on this.

I own several foreign REVIEW websites in particular same niche. My idea is to write quality unique english articles content and use this same content to translate it with google translator and put it into
other websites i own in the languge it is.

Keep in mind, i need this for building SEO campaign so i will add fresh content probably few times a week. This is mostly for SEO purposes not for building reader base.

The initial reviews will be done in prefect language that is represented by that website and language.

My questions:
- Is that ok in terms of seo, any negative effect?
- will this be somehow classified as second grade content? or anything like that?

Suggestions please! and thank you already in advance.

From our good friend Matt (that's if you believe what he says):

?The same content in English is different than the same content in French. So, if you had identical content in English, and then in English again, in theory, that?s duplicate content, and we might only want to return one copy of the English content. But if you have English here and French here, it?s really quite different.?

?Now, one thing to be aware about, is if you have written that content yourself ? so you?ve written it for English, you?ve written it in French, or you?ve had it translated by hand for French, everything?s great. The world is good. Life is rosy. Be happy. But if what you?ve done is taken the English copy for your website, and thrown it into Google Translate, and done nothing more than auto-translate it into a bunch of different languages, that can be considered spamming, because in essence, it?s auto-generated. It hasn?t had a human?s eyes looking at it, figuring out what the idioms are, polishing it ? that sort of thing.?

As Leith pointed out I wouldn't do it because its basically spun-content quality, Google Translator usually spits out content even WORSE than a TBS spin for example. Do you intend to put those articles on the same site, or on other sites just to use as links to your main one?

OP, if you're using it for SEO only, I don't see the problem with it.

That Matt Cutts excerpt tells you that it will work, they just don't want you to use it. That's only because google wants webmasters to do everything the long way.

By the way, how come you don't want boobs in here?

I will put the articles on other sites in the languege that the website is intended for, so if its spanish website, there will be spanish content and no links beetwen those websites.
