So I used to post about 20 Yahoo questions a week, and all of a sudden during the last weekend Yahoo deleted a massive amount of my questions asked & answered.
Did anyone else experience a situation like that in recent days? Have anyone heard about Yahoo deleting a massive amount of questions?

Were you using the same account for the answers??? I have checked mine and they are still up. Looks like there is something that is linking up your accounts.

is your account banned from making any additional questions or answers, did you receive a warning from yahoo answers, are you using proxies, are you dropping obvious spam links on the answers?

I have 11 YA accounts and all of them work fine. I asked around 1-2 questions a month and send around 15 answers a month.

I wasn't using same accounts for Q&A. In fact, every account that I created used to ask only 1 question, or only 1 answer - a unique accout per question and a unique account per answer. I use proxies.
I entered couple of those accounts. They suspended the accounts that were used for answers.

My answers content is more than relevant to the questions asked. In each answer I put aff. link to a site that I promote in the "source" section. This is probably why they deleted the questions. The main question is - how come that all of a sudden they deleted such a big amount of questions? usually they delete 3-4 of my questions in a week or more, not more than 50...

I think you used same account again and again or same IP. I had this issue before.

hi, i never heard about this issue, as im using YA from past couple of months they are working fine at the moment.

Does anyone know where I can order few hundreds custom Yahoo Answers from different accounts with my backlink in it? Or who can provide such services?

I think one of the following things happened:

- You used public proxies which were already abused.
- The link you were putting in the source section is blacklisted by Yahoo answers.
- A competitor is clicking on "Report Abuse" button to get you out of business.

- I use private proxies which I change every month
- I have other links for the same site which weren't deleted
- This is probably the most likely option by far...

Most of my questions were deleted at 2 main dates (a large number of questions deleted in a day - at both times) and therefore I still can't decide whether it's a competitor who's trying to get me out of business or a strong Yahoo Answers user(s) who reported a couple of questions at a time.

I entered into some of my accounts to check what's happening, and at the answer's accounts I found this mail:

"The answer on Yahoo! Answers was reported and deleted by one or more trusted members of the Answers community:"
and so on...

Does anyone know how can I prevent this from happening again? Can anyone tell if when a user reports an answer - it gets deleted on the same day or does Yahoo do a "sweep" and deletes a whole bunch of questions once in a while?

When a user reports several questions which are violating the terms of Yahoo Answers, he is upgraded to trusted reporters. Now whenever he report a question, it gets instantly deleted.
Otherwise when several normal reports a question, it gets deleted.

Stop Spamming dude, they will stop deleting your questions and accounts.

You need to water down the spam : helpful answers ratio a bit I'd say. Also using blatant aff links will get spotted / reported more often than not. Get yourself to L3 - that helps. I had a couple of answers deleted that had aff links, but all of my other answers are still there as best answers. All I did was to "hide" the aff links a bit more cleverly.

Thanks, didn't know that.

But still, how does this explain these 2 big deletion (on 2 separate dates)? is it just 1 trusted reporter who went through a bunch of my questions and flagged them on the same day?

Seems like your account is banned for spamming, you should try using differnt proxies for differnt accounts. Remember you can use only one account per proxy, if not it would raise red flags and the account and ip both would be banned.

Well, I don't believe proxies are the problem. I do keep track of which proxy is used for each account.

I have been using 1 proxy for 2-3 accounts but even when 1 account got banned, the other account using the same proxy still remained active and answer was not deleted from the second account.

So my best guess is still that someone actually went through and flagged specific answers.

i had level 6 account
answered only questions asked from other people

they deleted all questions i answered :D
