There is no great, purposed, cosmic-level transmogrifying force at play leading towards a non-Communistic yet communistic Utopia (whatever it would be called). If there's evidence of anything, it's that we're barreling over the cliff as evidenced by the continuous governmental overreach of things such as PRISM and the apathy of response from America's populous. Frankly, I think government only when and where absolutely necessary is a cure-all. Until this can be argued back into the hearts and minds of Americans, you can pretty much rest assured that the USA's days are numbered.

The chris22's quote were indeed good. as i read from somewhere , communism is capitalism of the elite, if you can prove otherwise im glad to hear. There were some posts about future. Artificial AI juding shit and stuff, well my opinion on this is that in next 100 years with the immigration from africa and middle east, while these are breeding like a rabbits shit will collapse and welll warp back 5000 years and start all over again building clay huts. As everyone is getting in debt by bullshit "money" (numbers changing in databases) and shit getting worse day by day. It will probably be like that reindeer /moose story where they are bred in island where there are no natural enemies, they breed extremely fast for a time and when there is not enough food anymore for all the population will die very quicly to low number of mooses and most likely will start the loop.

I'm actually surprised that so many were surprised about the capabilities of PRISM. I had my surprise much earlier, when US authorities arrested 2 British citizens for tweeting a joke: 'I'm going to destroy America and dig up Marilyn Monroe'. Full story:

PRISM is still a joke, with a high false alarm rate. However, like the twitter example above shows - when the people behind it have no sense of humor the results are exactly what you could expect from the returning Patriot Act boomerang.

Personally, I wouldn't sign that even if you offered me a trunk full of money! Snowden had a security clearance and was being paid to do a job. He broke the law and belongs in jail for breaking what he agreed to when he was granted that clearance. People that enjoy the improved safety that programs like the ones exposed provide should not complain when it turns out that some of their own private info was briefly looked at - and ignored.

You shouldn't even know the programs exist... and thanks to that prick, all of you and the many these programs were actually designed to watch (and catch BEFORE they did something) know.

Yea... Go ahead and be a lamb, sign the petition. This isn't the silliness of Kevin Metnick. This guy betrayed the trust that he was given and should rot in jail until he's old and gray.

PS. as a final note, don't feel that "just because you're 'black hat', that you should back idiots like this supposed 'whistleblower'". The NSA does not care about your BH activities... lol If you enjoy the improved safety that programs like PRISM give you, then you honestly should be happy that they existed - and equally upset that the idiot did what he did - because now they will be much less effective. Do not think for a moment that all the petitions in the world will stop programs like those from happening - they will happen, as they should - I can guarantee it. I for one am glad that they do.

Doesn't really matter does it because if not stopped now, they will have no say in it. As technology advances, the power of governments that embrace that technology grows. And for years this technology has been used for industrialized prisons, keeping US in perpetual war.

What if this generations grandchildren are so controlled by the government(because we did nothing about it) that a simple click of a button by the gov can instantly kill a human(the SUPERTERRORIST ONLY OFC). What if 200 years from now, the gov can devoid ones existence completely. This is complete speculation and I might be crazy, yes. But looking at the way its going, I'd rather live in crazyland now.
