Tweet Adder 3 Working Again! (Full Version & Proxy Support)

I am having a hard time figuring this out. I just got a domain abc1231.com I have tried the information you've posted several times but I'm missing something. Could you do a quick tutorial for people who have their domains. How to apply my domain to the host file? I've already applied abc1231.com to the tweetadder.exe file. Your insight would be most helpful.

It's dead as a doornail now.I just fired it up to do retweets and it don't post.Maybe somebody can go into note pad++ and play with the code to get this working.

TweetAdder3 is now blowing errors. It doesn't load followers with this error statement: {"errors": [{"message": "The Twitter REST API v1 is no longer active. Please migrate to API v1.1. ", "code": 68}]}

Looks like Twitter shut down the V1 API and Tweetadder 3 used that API...

It seems to still be effective at following and unfollowing. My solution has been to quit TweetAdder3 about 3- 4 times a day and run TweetAdder4 to reload the followers data into the database. Then quit TweetAdder4 and restart TweetAdder3.

The registration keys aren't working for me :S It says "There was an error validating your key. Please check your internet conection". I completed all the steps as said in the post

To everyone above, TA no longer works. That's wby you're getting errors and such.

I thought of that but following and unfollowing does not work in TA3. It shows that it is but it doesn't do anything if you compare it to the Twitter account. I think you're spot on about the API change to 1.1

Already know about that, me and my partner are working on getting the owner to fix it as Tweet Demon is currently not working.

I know that TA is now dead but for those messing about with the 11 character domain name, you could have put in 127.0.0.100 as the IP address instead of editing 142.xxx.xxx.xxx address to an 11 character domain name that is redirected in your hostfile. 127.0.0.0/8 is the loopback adapter under IP protocol, so anything sent to the 127.0.0.0/8 block is automatically looped back to your machine. Something to bear in mind for the future should someone figure out a similar hack for TA.

When TA came abruptly to an end (I don't follow the TA news so it was a bit of a surprise to me) I just said "f*** *t!" and wrote my own clone of it on the v1.1 API. Ugly as sin UI but three days work and it does everything that TA did for me (random RT, random tweets, autofollow/unfollow, follow from a list of accounts, follow followers of followers, search and private proxy).

I don't relish the thought of going up against Twitter's legal team on American soil so I don't see myself ever distributing or selling it as a product. If someone with reasonably deep pockets wants the source code to make their own product, I would entertain that for the right price. I have zero clue how to make money out of Twitter so the bot is really for my own amusement and to grow my single personal account and the two accounts I run for clients.
