You might get views with Spun Content!

The last few years there has been a massive push for spinning articles and spun content.

But the hard facts are that this may well suffice for SE indexing and limited number of views.

But what it will not secure is reader retention and repeat traffic leading to several page views per session.

Remember readers will not read spun crap?

It depends on the quality of the article. I agree that auto-spun content is junk, but manually spun content is another story

Going with well-written articles is still the way to go. At the end of the day, you're catering to LIVE HUMAN BEINGS. People have tons of things to do... In 10 seconds, they can drift away and just go on YouTube or listen to songs or watch TV. If the first thing they see on your site is crappy grammar or an article that looks like it was written by a 4 year old, then they will close the window plain and simple.

The time it takes to manualy spin a 500 word article to where it is good quality, is the same amount of time it takes to write an article from scratch. People who spin articles are not writers. I don't know what they are exactly, but they're not writers.

Many many years ago I experimented with this, and this is what I found out. When I took the time to manually spin an article, my mind was focused on individual words. After spinning the first paragraph is when I realized this. I took the same article and pasted it in a notepad. I looked at the first paragraph for about a minute or two, soaked in what they were talking about, and wrote the same point as what that paragraph was talking about in my own words. I then ran what I just wrote through Copyscape, and it came back clean. Most importantly though, it was better quality in terms of readability and grammar.

You can manually spin 'till the cows come home and know every synonym in existence, but you're not going to get the same quality because you're not focusing on the human element of the article: What it means. You're focusing on changing out every 3 words so it passes Copyscape.

copyscape proves nothing most of the main stream press articles would not pass when pasted into the assinine (as in pointless) copyscape as copyscape cannot identify attribution content...

Views with spun articles is possible but they wont stay there for long. Spun articles never make sense, but yes, a little editing here and there can solve your purpose only if you are just wishing for views and not quality visitors.
