Fake follower checker on Twitter

The site says it takes 1,000 records and checks if your followers have little followers or no tweets, I just checked my personal account and I'm turning up 13% fake from over 50K followers.

I didn't do any fakeys -_- how is this website working to determine real and fake?

I have almost zero tweets but I am legitimately interested in people I follow, so that software would count me as a fake twitter when I'm not.

That site takes a very small sample. It is BS. I know my accts and exactly how many fakes have been added and I have had accts come up with 10% fake and 90% real when i know for fact that it is more like 50% fake 50% real. Just another gimmick site

Yeah, I've used sites similar to this before and all they do is take a very small sample. If your account is small, it may be a little more accurate, but usually with big accounts, it's pretty god damn wrong.

That site probably works on Twitter API, fetching no. of tweets of the followers, no. of following and followers of your followers and rate them as orginal if they have a descent amount / score. Well, that is how it can work since a program cant differentiate fake and orginal, like we cant differentiate an account by just seeing the account.

So, instead of Fake/Orginal, this should be counted as Active/Inactive or Established/New account.

Mmm I don't think it's a total gimmick. It actually checks if your follower has no friends and tweets. Generally, those accounts are created for spamming. Not so bad is it?

Just to test I used tweepi's "force to unfollow" tool. I found over 5,000 eggs following me? majority of them didn't even tweet between 1-5 years & followed 1,000+ account with literally no followers. I got rid of them but my fake ratio remains the same... 13% I guess it takes time to update? We shall see. (Will post an update if it changes)

Just like instagram a LOT of bots and fake profiles follow you to promote a website or sex cam of some sort so im quite sure unless your page is protected everybody has a ton of fake followers
