Building more PA and DA

Hello Guys,


I am just wondering a couple of things that I hope you can help, one of my sites has already link building done, and with really good PA, DA and PR but, even that I am ranking good I see that my biggest competitors rank better because they have bigger PA and DA, so, I wanted to focus on raising it so, my questions are the following:

1) If I get higher PA and DA than my competitors would I rank better than them or will make me rank higher?

2) What is the best way to build higher PA/DA? I was thinking the following renew domain for at least 5 years, get users to share website links on social networks as facebook, twitter, pinterest, google+, etc. , get users to press on Google +1 buttom on site, what else I can do to make PA/DA to raise?

Get links from other high DA sites, preferably from pages with high PA. Find out who is linking to your competitors and see if you can get any of then to link to you. That is a shortcut that can help you catch up but if you are going to rank higher than them you need to get links that they don't have.

1. Try getting real .edu links.

2. Focus on quality links from relevant sites that have a strong link profile.

3. Make sure your content is really good. 1500 words. Add in links to authoritative sites such as Wikipedia, other .edu sites, other key .com sites.

4. Maybe hire some folks on Amazon Mechanical Turk to do searches for your business name, so that your business name is seen as a brand by Google.

Increasing your PA,DA and PR won't help you in ranking. Its not a ranking factor.

Amazon Mechanical Turk is owned by Amazon.com. Its a platform to give small tasks(works) to larger workforce.
You can outsource jobs like clicking a link, copy pasting work, article writing, etc., Minimum ammount you payed to the owrkers is $0.01 and it goes up according to the nature of job. If you want to give it a try first register there as a worker go around and understand what type of jobs you can outsource then start giving jobs. There are support people they can help you posting your job proposal.
I used it before but nowadays its hard to get our work approved.

No doubt that PA / DA is not a ranking criteria. But it may help you get some advertisement/ paid reviews / sponsored posts, if you're having a daily updating blog. And its only links that improves the domain authority. I checked out the following guy to be ranked for your query:-
