Local Listing and Organic Togather

Scenario:
Initially My website was ranking in Organic somewhere in 2rd page of Google along with my Google Local Listing in 1st page . But recently my Google Local Listing got converted in Google plus page and still in 1st page of Google in Local. But my website from Organic disappeared for many keywords and only Google + page is showing in listing.

SEO work I did:
Normal white hat SEO. All links are from Business directories, article submission, press release, blogs linking to main homepage and inner blog post. All links are genuinely created, no spamming at all made in span of 3 month. Domain is 3 month old.

Question:

• Is it like something that Google Local Listing ( now Google + page ) along with organic can't show together in 1st page. I mean Google won't show same website twice in 1st page?
• I am penalized for Organic something like that?
• When I see in my browser (clearing cache and everything) in Google.com, I don't see my website in organic for that keyword but just local listing is seen. But When I use proxy like hidemyass.com to see Google result for that keyword, I used to see my website in organic in 2nd page of google. But today I cant even see my website through hidemyass also. So I am more worried

Hey mate, may be people missed your thread. Happy that you got your answers. Here is my views about it.
1. Yes your Google+ profile and organic SEO ranking can appear in 1st page for desired keyword. Most of the time if you search for your company name your website along with G+ profile appears in search result. If this can happen obviously it can for keyword's.
2. Can't saw your website is penalized or not with the little information you gave. If you linked your account with webmaster tools you should have got a email if you are penalized. If you haven't linked your site with WMT do it now.
3. May be this will be the problem. Its not only catch you need to clear. Do these things to know your real ranking positions
In search results include &pws=0 at the end of search result. It will give remove personalized search results.
Also, if you are targeting US at the end of the search result add this &gl=us . For India its &gl=IN. It will give you results of those respective country.
There is a firefox plugin available http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker/ install this on your firefox and see the results.
If your site appears in first page use semrush.com enter your keyword and enter your domain to see your keywords and its rankings.

Sorry for the late reply but here is my input:

Yes Google usually does not like for you to have both a local and organic listing on the front page.

Now keep in mind that sometimes you can slip through the cracks and get both listings on top. I personally have a couple listings that rank for both on the same page, so it is possible. I had so many more that were like these but after the update I did realize Google was moving my listings back. The best thing for you to do is rank your local and then rank an inner page for your site.
