I HIGHLY doubt it will be "rendered useless", SAPE has a large amount of people selling links.

because of sape getting famous, i have been reading several jealous comment..

saying sape is not good.. sape will be take down...
making false accusations...

google will not penalize getting sape links from network if you diversify your link sources..

just imagine this scenario...

if they will penalize sites using sape links, you can use sape for neg seo.
