Need a little direction... Please help

Ok, so I have 2 fb accounts, not pages yet. One has 200 friends the other has 300 friends. Now I am thinking that the process starts like this:

Build up a normal fb account with a lot of friends, (maybe 1000? I am not sure how high we can get.)
Then, turn the account into a like page.
Then, continue to build the like page.

That is the process that I came up with, but am not sure how flawed it is. Am I going about this all wrong? I assume that having a FB fan page with 500k, that there is money to be had. I am out of work and with all the time I need available to this.

So basically, I am asking for advice, I am willing to put in the work, but I don't know what to do exactly. As of right now, both my accounts have friend request blocks for 2 more days.

Please, if anyone is willing to kinda show me the ropes, I would be forever grateful.

Its better to build a facebook page and grow it through different bots, etc. If you create a good enough page, alot of times it grows naturally if you introduce it to the right people.

If you want to build accounts, build legitimate friend accounts, they are priceless if you do them the right way, however, hard to build.

Your plan does not seem very strong though, keep in mind that even if you changed to a page at 5k friends, you would still need to send traffic to the page. You could do so by advertising or doing seo to another page.

Thanks for the really quick responses guys. I am not sure what SEO is, I can google it though. I figure I have some learning but am sure it will pay off. I am not sure how bots work, but do they generate accounts with real people? I am not interested in having a like page with a bunch of fake accounts, am I wrong? though? Is there a good purpose to have a bunch of fake likes on your page?

focus on your accounts first..target the right people by that time your page can be waiting until you reach a good friends' list and then you can promote it to your audience...goodluck

Haha, believe me, that's the part I really want. But I figure this work comes first and monetization comes later.

I am completely unlearned in this area, but the good thing is, I learn fast and once I get started proper, I can really excel.
I read in another post about adding people even while you're blocked by using a mailing list. are there mailing lists out there that I can download and add? That would be really helpful.

Monetization does come later, but you should be thinking about monetization in parallel. What's the point of putting all that hard work in to that FB page you'll be developing, if you don't know how you'll monetize it? You're risking doing a lot of work for nothing, or for far less than what you could make if you had a solid plan from the beginning.

Maybe your profile is a hot girl and you want to monetize horny guys.

That's a different strategy than say...

An expert real estate agent profile.

I suggest you think this through from start to finish.

Yeah, I am not really trying to go the horny guy route, and I really don't know what the possibilities are when trying to make money. Thanks for this info though, it is giving me a lot to think about. I read somewhere someone mentioned mylikes, not sure what that is either though.

Make sure you make your friends or fans as targeted as possible. This is relatively easy with Facebook's ads, though I have no experience with building a friend account.
Think of how you want to monetize, then find that audience.
If you want to affiliate with a 'learn how to socially fit into college' info product, target an approximately college-age (certainly no older) audience. If you're looking to promote a menopause product, target women over the average age at which that happens. I don't really know exactly what the age for that is.... 50? I don't know, I'm a relatively young male, not a menopausal woman. Don't chastise me!
Think of your page as an asset with a purpose, not just a general audience to haphazardly throw offers at.

Just create an interesting facebook fanpage after that try to get some likes from sites like addmefast .

Ok so i have a question and would be a big help if someone could help lol This is my first post but anyways im on Facebook and i just found out that you can mass post on groups with email. So i created a Facebook page and thought that i could get alot of likes to my page by doing this. My niche is in Funny Pictures. So i found some funny viral pictures and mass posted these pictures to about 20 different groups. The Only Problem is when i did that it showed a big nasty url and not a thumbnail of the picture or the picture itself. Because who is really going to click on a big long Facebook url to see a picture? not me.

So i just want to post a picture on groups linked to my Facebook page that way people know where the picture came from and that way if they like the pic they will hopefully like my facebook page. Or in other words i want to share what my post on my facebook page to groups? I hope i explained that well. If anyone has any ideas that would be awesome!

PS: i would make a thread around this but i am not a vip so i cannot.
