Hmmm I think google don't like duplicate content, 3/3 blog are not indexed after 4 days. I'm going to wait before create other blog.

Normally when I create a new website, it takes less than 24 hours before being indexed.

I have full visitors from reddit but no click for now.

I rebuild all my blog with uniquefier plugin and i pass Copyscape now.

I wait for be indexed.

if I could thank this post 100 times, I would. There are few thingds I actually try from bhw (surpirsingly). but You set this up and guided me through it and made it so easy for me to follow. well mostly. I got through it, lets say.

What I did instead was resuscitate an old blog that I had, and made it an autoblog. already I am seeing 100 uniques and this is within about 3 or 4 hrs or so. I have turned into a DOER and I figured this is an easy method to implement while i wait on my other methods. i figured id take action . so I have been at this for a few hrs now, and mostly did every step. Again, seeing plenty of uniques. Expecting more. You should make this into an ebook and sell it somewher else, its such a good method I would only want to see you sell this. no one else. Id support you 100%. anyway.

I got through most of it, although some was explained as if i was an expert at some stuff. So here are my questions. answers would be much appreciated (by anyone!)

When it comes to the ping list: I searched all around, I tihnk i found the right place, but i am somewhat noob witbh wordpress. but Do i Put that in the manage> Writing> "update services" text box? is that where pings go? Not sure.
i forget half the other stuff I was wondering, but anyways. for *****, it wasnt explained enough. As ohters have said, it seems you can only upload images, or something, so how do I go about promoting my site? Would I put that in he comment section of the upload or what? Didnt follow this part and never used this site.

I have gone through the other sites and set everything else up though!
oh and PS I wanted to say great Idea on getting the feeds from millionrss.com or whatever. great idea i found a great feed for my niche. clever info. keep up the good work!

1 question.
With this method I think we are not getting constant daily traffic right?
We have to do the reddit/5chan method whenever we need traffic.
If I have 10 blogs, I'll probably need 10 reddit posts to get traffic to all of them since our traffic is not coming from organic search.
Am I right to say this?

When you say add your sitemap to google, I added my site, and then went to add the sitemap but google tells me its not the right sitemap format or something?

When doing the campaigns, should I make the titles linkable to the original article? I thought yes at first when it isnt a full article, but perhaps i should say no? Otherwise they cant go to the article on my page directly.

I think thats it. still need answers to my other questions as well! thanks.

i had a question though, would it be fine to use bidvertiser? are they fine with sending traffic from etology? the reason i would like to go with bidvertiser is because they pay by paypal which is definitely much easier for me.

Get an xml sitemap plugin for wordpress and then submit it to google
It should work perfectly.

A few questions for Ernest:

1 - As I sorta asked above are we mainly talking about money either through adbrite or flipping (As you said yourself that adbrite sucks, and I've heard that flipping can be a hassle.)?

2 - Is the traffic mainly from reddit and the ***** method? If so, why even bother with an autoblog? I thought the purpose of the autoblog was automatic new, fresh content (i.e. for search engines) and for lots of indexed pages (again for lots of long tail searches through search engines)? Do you get much search traffic?

So aren't we just hoping random people from reddit will click or random site and hopefully click our crappy adbrite ads? Please don't take this as a flame, I'm just trying to get to the just of it.

This is the best post I have read on this forum. Awesome share. If you get stuck, try to figure some of it out for yourself before you post 'noobie' questions, though.

Go*Dad**y doesn't have fantastico, which is brain dead on their part. I called their CS and they told me that they have other stuff that works just as well for their CPannel. Dummies. So now I am looking for a host.

The hosting ?? is if you are keeping these blogs for a while or if you know they will catch on or you will flip them soon, so just put them in a reseller account to begin with.

Reddit and the RSS submissions are just an EXTRA traffic income.

And as it was said before..you can monetize it with whatever you want. You don't have to use adbrite.

You can mix up things. PPC, PopUps, Banners, CPA, PPI... or just sell it - It's your decision.

Thanks a lot. You actually make money from adbrite? I thought conversion sucks for adbrite no matter how you put it. Whats's your ecpm? Also adbrite pays very slowly.

I used to try to leech many blogs using feedwordpress (another similar plugin I guess). However, soon I got angry webmasters demanding that I stop posting his stuff.

Looks like the way to go is to leech from hundreds rather than leeching from a few.

Finally I also did adsense arbitrage. Buy traffic at less than 1 cents a piece and then put adsense. Used to make good till I am banned.

Just because your indexed doesn't mean your gonna get traffic. You may get the odd hit but nothing of any worth especially when you are targeting broad popular search terms such as in this case.
Also you would need to do some massive SEO and build vast amounts of backlinks to even stand a chance of capturing organic traffic for these terms (celebs, gossip etc.)

This method seems as though it is relying 100% on traffic from Reddit or the other places mentioned. Maybe over time you may get some natural backlinks placed by visitors of the site but even these will not be optimized - you would need links on relevant, good PR sites with keyword rich anchor text. You also need proper unique content.

I think the idea of getting traffic from Reddit is interesting but it is not a set and forget type of traffic, seems you would need to constantly be doing this. It's not a bad thing if you are getting back something worth the time it takes you but i think the sums need to be done on what time you need to spend to get a decent return.

Just some rough calculations going on the limited info already given:

earnesthemmingway you say that a blog can earn a min of $50 per month and that you do the reddit thing 3 times a week.
I am guessing that it probably takes about 30 mins to find some content and then vote for it each time - Am i right??

If this is the case you are working for

(3 times a week) * 30 mins * 4 weeks = 6hrs per month for $50 - lets call it $10 per hour

Do you repeat this for lots of sites, do you have ways of scaling this or automating?
I'm just guessing here. can you comment on how accurate this assessment is?

When you flip your blogs do you tell the buyer that he will need to maintain this regime to keep the traffic/income

Well actually, completely general sites like celebrity, hollywood, gossip, news etc, are known to be both the most untargeted and worst converting for anything other then PPC, which the author states that he doesn't even use adsense, thus in reality traffic doesn't always equal easy money (especially in porn - I have sites that get 1000's of uniques a day and aren't buying me any yachts).

The point of this was to determine if this is worth the time to set up or just a waste of time on a site that gets lots of useless, untargeted traffic.
