VPS - Is It worth it?

I have been pondering about looking at various VPS services but what benefits am I going to get?

I have a decent enough computer (gaming pc) with 16gb of ram with an intel i7 processor. I have got a 100mb internet connection but I am getting around 5-10 links per minute and thats just spamming on GSA. If I choose just articles and social networks etc I am only getting around 40 links a day if i am lucky. I am using 1000 keywords for these campaigns but I know the articles and blogs don't use the keywords too much so is it the internet thats slowing me down?

Would running this on a VPS improve these figures?

Only drawback is you cant run your pc (of course you can but shorten its life) 24/7.

A vps can run 24/7 np

so basically its a waste of money then for me? My pc is on permanently anyway really I rarely switch it off. Electric doesnt cost as much as a VPS does to run it so I dont think ill bother getting one if thats the only benefit

Unless you are running drupal...why would you need a VPS server? Although i hear you can do some fancy stealth surfing from VPS

If you just starting out with IM than save up more money to buy vps

if your isp has usaged based billing that would be one reason to use vps.

Its mainly for speed purpose, but you already have a good internet connection and rig. I have one cause my net is 1.5mb....

I am already paying for a Superb VPS.

It's not going to cost me any more or any less to host you on it.

If you are at least an intermediate user and know how to use cPanel you are welcome to use my server. I really don't have time to offer you support though. I'm not GoDaddy =(

VPS Benefits -

-> you can have your programs/bots running 24x7
-> enjoy extremely hi speed internet
-> use it for mining credits for social sites signals
-> download & seed torrents
-> run seo programs that require lot of ram without stopping other work..

List goes on.. but first you need to decide if what you are doing at IM really needs a VPS or NOT.

Im renting a VPS with tools on it so although I use 2 machines of my own I run all the memory hungry programs on the VPS. Currently running Senuke and GSA and Pin Pioneer all at the same time without hogging my normal machines. I do a lot of research etc on my normal machines but then upload all the jobs to the VPS. Costs me $30 a month so its well worth it.

The question is "will getting a VPS increase the # of links I get with GSA" if I'm not mistaken. (which nobody answered)

Basically no, you need to do loads of tweaking on GSA before it will be able to produce more links than your computer can handle. And even then, with a computer than that, you will hardly use it to full capacity EVEN WHEN doing other things alongside running GSA. Now it might bottleneck your bandwidth at some point but again, you won't reach that point until you learn to use GSA better.

First you should go through the following and read EVERYTHING while paying attention to details and especially pay attention to comments from users "LeeG", "Hunar" (naturally there are others who shared valuable info there but these 2 have shared LOADS of tips you won't find anywhere else)
