Hey all,

Once again, Majestic SEO is reporting I have over 300 backlinks from a site called lovewarnews dot com which I have never heard of before and appears to be spam.

Each referring anchor text is (name of particular page on site) - (name of website). When I click on the backlink that leads me to lovewarnews, my domain name is nowhere to be found on that site.

Does anyone have any possible idea why I cant find the actual backlink on this person's site? What the hell kind of black hat tactic is this?

Thank you very much for your replies.

How are these "backlinks" not appearing on the site in which majestic seo labels at the "source url"? I am just so unbelievably dumbfounded. Please, someone must have some kind of input.

Did you check the source code? Right click > source code > CTRL + F and find your site's name.

Calm Down Bro, I had the same thing Happening to me in the last week and i Figured it out.
What would have happened is someone would have left a link to your site in their comment page.(Might be an Organic Backlink)
So Once they left the comment, It will be posted on the sidebar as "Comment Link" along with the comment.
Now imagine, if the site has 200 posts, Every 200 posts will have your link. So, These ahrefs, M SEO Bots are quick in crawling it.
So they update it accordingly, and we will see a sudden rise in the backlinks.

This is not over yet, So our comment will be sticking there for 12-24 hours. If it is highly moderated blog.
So after 1 or 2 days if our comment gets removed, it will take sometime for MSEO or ahrefs to remove it from their database as well.(They are slow, acc. to my Experiments)
No worries, Everything will settle in the coming days :)
