I am about to pay almost 400$ for 100 000 unique a month, means 3,333 a day. Will it pay off? is it gambling? help me out pls

It actually depends on what kind of traffic is it? Bots? Real people? Targeted People?

And what kind of site are you purchasing the traffic for? The answer to these questions might help you in taking a better decision.

If I was in your position I will invest those $$$ myself in Facebook Ads. With that amount and with the right tests on the beginning with small amount of money just to see which campaign brings better likes or traffic you can grow a fan page to 100k - 130k likes. Always if you are a little lucky and patient. With this amount of likes you can grow your fan page day to day just by posting good statuses, photos, videos that get lots of shares, after that you can redirect this traffic at your site anytime you want.
The main point is that like this you are 99% sure that you are having real traffic, real visitors...
Another way is that you find someone that want to sell theire, facebook, twitter, pinterest fan page for this amount of money and you start from there...
BUYING TRAFFIC LIKE YOU SAID MOSTLY OF THE TIMES DOESN'T WORK AT ALL TO EARN MONEY, maybe you can just increase your ALEXA ranking but that's it, nothing more...

That is an absolute scam. If he can drive those number of uniques to his own site, he can earn thousands easily. Why would he do it for you for some hundreds? There is a lot of way to start your stuff, and good thing you asked here first. Do not be fooled.
