Why bidders don't accept my second chance offer?

Hi, i'm s-elling some items on e-bay through auctions.
I have lot of the same items, so i usually send a second chance offer to the second bidder, but he never accept the offer.
I tried it with 5 auctions, and no one accept it.
Why?

what could I write in the private message with the link to increase the chances of accepting the second chance offer?
That's really frustrating, because they bid on my item three minutes before, and then they don't want to buy it for that price :S

But, sending the second chance offer, it's a way to kill two birds with one stone.

There are no problems with highest bidders, when you have multiple items, second chance offers a really good way to expand your sales really quickly if you know how to use them.

You have only tried it 5 times, you may just be unlucky.

I've bought items this way and really appreciated that 2nd chance so it can work.
