Only White hat SEO enough get 1 postion on google ?

Hi,
Only white hat SEO is enough for website to get 1 position on google? I am doing my website SEO work to maintain with White hat seo
PDF links
web 2.0 blogs
social bookmarks (high Pr ones)
high PR blog comments high PR
high PR wiki
social signals e.t.c and all are white hat method. i have many competitor they good number backlinks now who is number 1 with this keywords which is my keyword also . He just made his site just about 3 month and he made many backlinks within this time which i didnt follow for black hat technique and my website already passed 6 month but still now i am in number 35 on those keywords. not only for this many site start their website after me but they have good position on google. So Only white hat SEO is enough for a website? or their have some tricks . ;-)

There is nothing called white hat, once you start building links to your site, it comes under blackhat marketing.

Just start building back links on regular basis Do article marketing submit article into good article directories on regularly basis and you will beat them in a month

What you are doing is not white hat though.

White hat is just creating good content and praying. Any form of link building or self promotion is already at best gray hat.

You can create backlinks with many keyword variation of long tails. Also, try to create backlinks regularly with drip feed the indexing of links as well. Creating mass spammy backlinks will give you sudden movment but it will decrease gradually.

White hat is buying adwords and other advertisements to create traffic for your site. If visitors who have blogs like your site, they will create a link pointing to your site.

It always makes me laugh when I hear people say they are doing everything white hat and then talk about all the links they have been building or the links they are getting someone else to build for them.

As others have mentioned, white hat is creating content and paying for ads or hoping for the best with no artificial link building.
