Stupidity costs me €450!

So someone I've met and got a good chat at a bar last week sold me her iphone 5 32gigs for ?450 because she said that she lost her wallet.

Long story short, I bought her iphone5 for ?450 to help her and just to realized that it was blacklisted by O2 in UK.

Now i got a blacklisted ?450 phone and seeking help to get it unlocked for me to use it.

Kindly tell me if there is still a hope for this phone. Thanks.

Sell it on ebay saying it doesnt make calls just says call failed etc but dont mention its barred because it will only be barred in the uk and will still work abroad so you might get a chunk of your money back

I am not in UK, I am from belgium.

Will just look for something in google that might help me with this problem.

Tried with a local network sim, no luck. it is locked and blacklisted by O2 in UK
