Anyone else's keywords dancing like crazy? is there any update in process?

Not really sure what the hell is going on, but my keywords are going crazy atm, for a minute they are on first page then again I check and they are gone.. anyone else facing anything like this?

One of my sites that is/was ranked for a very competitve keyword is dancing right now. It went from $3 to the bottom of page 3 then back to the bottom of page one and now back to page 2 lol.

I'm hoping it will rank #1 when it's done dancing

this is the first time I am experiencing this kind of google dance so I have no idea where will those keywords end up. so you're just hoping your keyword will increase rank or this has happen before to you?

Well I work on my sites year round. I don't really leave them alone for more than a month.

So this dance could be a result of me building links or it could be google updating.

Do you guys check your rankings every hour or something? SERPs fluctuate regularly and may be different for a number of reasons. SERP tracking tools use different IPs, locations, etc. which can sometimes yield different ranking results.

If your serps have changed majorly, the first sign should be a dramatic change in traffic. Sometimes I wonder just how much of the monthly search volume in Google's keyword tool is from actual searches or from people checking their rankings.

My two keywords goes disappear and then come back... slowly they are going down.. Though i am not building any links but it should be G dance.
