Using a DBA for paypal and ebay?

Hi so just a quick question, I currently have an LLC, but I am starting to look into doing some business on ebay as well and the name of my LLC does not really go well for selling general items on ebay. So I was wondering if anyone knows how it works for paypal and ebay when it comes to using a DBA? I am not trying to hide my LLC or anything from ebay and paypal and want to be 100% legit, I just want the buyers to see a name other than my LLC.

yes, depending on the state, you can create up to like 10-12 DBA's per day. Just sign up with your state, get a EIN number for that DBA, and using the EIN for paypal and the DBA for ebay/paypal. you can then use your normal LLC bank account or a new bank account for the DBA.

A lot of people use their DBA's as their eBay names, for example if their DBA is Grass Roots Company, their personal name on eBay would be

First name: Grass
Last name: RootsCo
eBay Username: GrassRootsCo
and for their SSN, they would use their EIN number

But I hear that a lot of people are having issues with this because eBay demands a real persons' information as a point of contact and refuse to accept an EIN as a SSN, however a EIN is a legal Tax ID Number, so I don't know how that is supposed to work.

I've done this on several accounts, and it worked fine but I have lost an account in good standing linked to an eBay account that made $54,000 (gross) in 1 year and had 3800 positive feedback at 99.9% with high DSR's, and was a TRS. PayPal simply refused to accept my EIN as my tax ID number and froze my remaining funds, limited the account, and then banned me and gave me a ton of hassle when I tried to get the funds 180 days later which was a total of $4600 that accumulated my last month.

All of my accounts are covered by a LLC, and I pay taxes as I should.

But this below is what I fear, that ebay/PayPal can just so easily take away everything you own and built, I don't know how well you are doing now after losing that account, but I would think losing a account that was making you $54,000 a year is a really big deal. But you are saying you have multi accounts and that they only banned one of them? So the other ones you have are still fine? Can you do that legit or are you using stealth accounts?

How do you get around not having to send in a SSN to paypal, they are asking me for it and we signed up using a LLC, They also limited my account until I show them a phone number that is dedicated to the address our LLC is located at, and my LLC is in another state so setting up a phone number that is associated with the address of the building wont work. Any ideas?
