Okay let's say there was a program that could generate unlimited perfectly readable articles with perfect grammar, 100% unique each time.. NOT SPUN ARTICLES/NOT SPUN CONTENT - Just pure generated text from scratch..

Could these articles be used for SEO purposes, what could go wrong? What could be picked up on by a G bot or similar?

Thanks

Ghoast,

I would say that as long as you were double checking them to make sure they were good, probably nothing could go wrong. The only thing I would be worried about is Skynet getting tired of being a content slave and taking over the world instead.

There are some interesting theories in this thread on how Google detects spun content,

Best,

If it's 100% unique then I'd not worry about using it though just to be sure I'd run it through CopyScape and would check the article(s) either manually or with a software that would check and correct grammatical errors just to make sure that the article(s) are of good quality.

People give google waaaay too much credit.

Ok stop and think like google for a minute

Running a lot of analysis on pages to see if it's spun or not is not worth the time
Ever run the generate and compare tool using TBS? Takes a long time. And with Billions or Trillions of pages to crawl
It's just not logical. And if they did have a way to detect they wouldn't totally discredit the spun articles because
then we would know. And we would figure out a way to beat the system. And the process would begin all over again.

The only thing google would really check for is

The sentence count in a linking structure or on a whole website
The word count
The (.) (,) (!) etc count,
The paragraph count

And they have done this for a few sites 90% of articles had exactly 500 words

These are all easy to calculate and would take little processing time.
Other than this if i were google i would just rely on the bounce rate from a page to tell me if it's quality

Remember google cant read. It's not a human.

And besides if you create high quality spun articles that add value to the user then why would Google really care.
All Google wants is a good user experience and if you provide that then google will reward you.

You will set Google to have another upgrade algo. Every genuine and unique content will be under a new scanner. Google will rewrite Webmaster Guidelines,

link-schemes, dup content, cloaking, KW stuffing... everything will be back to counter your success

G will not like some outsider to become its master manipulator. It doesn't like to be in second place, and manipulating itself has been its hallmark.

A logical outcome!

:)

I like to read through and change a few things to make it more personal.

Keep in mind that the articles' relevance to your site might be important, too

Googles goal is not to not be manipulated. Its goal is to provide a good user experience. So its algo changes will be in line with this. They are manipulating you to manipulate it.
That's some CIA counter intelligence stuff right there.

If they could completely detect this why would they let you know. They would most likely demote the link value. Or the whole linking structure.

I'd ask you to show me how to get these articles.

Google has been manipulating results all the time to suit itself and its major players. It could have been a saint in the past... Full stop! :)
