After penguin 2.0 I thought it died. I was WRONG!
Today it hit 1st Page!
Literally no effort. 100% spun content.

I think the only sites that are getting killed are the 100% white hat sites. Googles changes are killing all those sites.

From everything I have seen since the update tells me that greyhat/blackhat still wins the day.

Both my white hat sites took a huge hit and lost 60% of their traffic. 3 of my black hat sites jumped in the rankings! Switching to strictly black hat from now on.

Google does not take into account that a competitor can spam your domain and you will loose your rankings. Disvow does not work.

Been a mixed bag here for serps for me and my clients serps.

Id say 80% UP a few spots here and ther and a handful of losers - - 150+ sites / terms

Mostly losers in this algo change were folks with large link profiles - and a lot of exact match and close to exact match anchors.

I spammed the crap out of a youtube vid just to see what would happen after 2.0 and ahrefs only shows 2 backlinks and

ahrefs and gogles index have nothing in common. I could really give a flying shit what ahrefs crawler find. Ahrefs bot aint going to rank me for shit in GOOGLE.

Links to your links is what gets google to crawl the pages and "index" them. If you do the job proper - you'll get google to "cache " the page your links reside on as well.

One has to wonder....

Why would googles ranking algo give much credence for a rank increase for a link on a page that google doesnt even find worthy to put in their index?
