Where to sell all the things I have?

First of all, sorry if I put this in a wrong category...it is kinda offline business.

So I have many used things - like 10 working laptops, 40-50 broken laptops, 5-6 iPhones, 30-40 different cell phones (cheaper ones), a few computers and computer monitors, 4-5 32" TVs, XBOX 360 etc. etc.

Now my question is how do I sell these items? There's a website in my country where I sell some, but 99% of the people want only exchange, no one really wants to give cash. Is it safe to sell it on eBay and would anyone buy these things there? Also, if someone buys let's say a TV from the US, and I am in the Europe, how hard would it be to ship the item?

I am getting these things all monthly and I basically have no room anymore to keep them all, so I am trying to sell them.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I'm sure you'll find buyers on eBay mate, I've sold broken tech on there, people usually fix them up and make a profit.

Sell them on Ebay or any other country specific marketplace. If an USA citizen will buy your TV you have to go to your postal office and send it to the buyers address. You can also sell them in your country, when you post an auction on a specific website make sure to write clearly that you want just to sell them, no exchanges.

As far as Ebay goes the larger items might be cost prohibitive due to the shipping rates to the US. Smaller items may do well but shipping times can affect sales as well cause people want their stuff "Now".

Perhaps you could try some online classified sites in your area or have a yard sale or something. Otherwise you might could sell them in bulk to ebay sellers in the US but you might take a hit on the price.

- The buyer comes to you (so you don't have to deal with shipping)

- YOU GET PAID IN CASH (no waiting for PayPal to transfer the money to your account)

- The sale is final (don't have to deal with disputes because some buyers will dispute

Yeah, that's true. Just my problem is that I live in a country which has population of ~4 million and 70% of the people are not really rich enough to buy the things. Those who are rich buy new things rather than used ones. So there are a few thousands of people who are involved in buy/sell stuff and a vast majority of them wants only trade for something.

At the end there are some people who are actually willing to give cash (I always give it much cheaper), so I sell an item or two in a month.

That's why I'm trying to sell it internationally, but not sure if it's a good idea coz of fees, shipping etc.

Try your local market, also I would think businesses might be interested in your offerings. Computer equipment can be a high expense and small businesses are always looking to save some money.
You can even agree to perform some sort of support for them, for a fee of course.

I don't know how readily you are able to get new stock so maybe what I'm about to say isn't for you. I think learning to do some of the basic repairs and touch up would offer you a lot of ROI. I was reading about a guy who deals exclusively on craigslist where he would pick up old and/or broken appliances like refrigerators, dishwashers, dryers, washers, etc, bring it back to his house to fix them up. Often times a simple paint job meant reselling it at a $100 markup. A lot of the times the repairs were very basic that took maybe 30 minutes and again he was able to resell it for a nice profit. This guy made a pretty decent living out of this, I think he said his highest earning per day was over one thousand, definitely nothing to scoff at.

Granted iphones and computers are more complicated but maybe some of the repairs literally take 10 minutes and allows you to sell it for an extra $200 or whatever. Just some food for thought.
