Hi friends, i am new in the internet issue. i have just passed my H.S.C and i have decide to learn Graphic. One of my elder brother says that Graphic designing is the great way to earn money and it is very professional so i want to learn it and want to work in this field.

So if you have any easy way to learn graphic please help me :omfg:

Graphic design is not easy to learn! If you really want to learn graphic design, get a copy of adobe Illustrator and study. Don't even bother with Photoshop, because that is for treating photo's.

It's real easy

just sign up to college, wait 4 years and learn real good.

Best way is to join communities like Dribbble and learn by looking to what great designers do.

Designing is not an easy thing, you must have a good-eye.

Earning money is not at all easy, neither is designing. You have to learn a lot to make good designs and earn money.

Try tutplus or similar site like this & also search on youtube on what you are looking for.Can be a great source for you to learn anything on YT.

Get yourself Photoshop, Illustrator and a couple of plugins... start watching thousands of tutorial videos on youtube and then experiment! But it's no overnight thing... I've been using Photoshop nearly daily for 5 years now and still learn new stuff!

Graphics design needs creativity but yes you can make simple graphics by tutorials on youtube or some forums. But you cannot create unique one without creativity

Well if you master the art of graphics designing i must say there is no easy way. you need to give it your time and your interests. You can follow podcasts or tutorial articles online. you'll find plenty of resources for sure. I suggest you first get a little hang of Adobe Photoshop then you can try on with Vectors in Illustrator. You need to be creative and full of imaginations to work well

i am graphics designer and web developer and graphic design is also very good field great choice mate

Learn your way around the programs you'll need to be a good designer - Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign are the ones that come to mind. Once you've brushed up on tutorials and know the ins and outs of these applications, you've got a solid foundation to build on. Next comes the creative part - some people are naturally good at this while others struggle. I'm a designer (web & graphic) but I would say that my vision is mediocre at best. However, I'm very technical so I'm very good and being able to replicate ideas. That's why I look at sites and companies who have really strong design work, and I feed off of that. I'll take someone else's idea and make it my own. I'm not saying you should rip-off other peoples' work, I'm saying look at what people are doing that are good at what they do and use their ideas and vision for inspiration in your own designs. :)

one tip is to learn from the case studies that really good designers use—the ones that show their conceptual processes. At the end of the day, a lot of people don't really care about these conceptual things (because they're not from a design background) as long as they look really good. Just because something is popular and acceptable doesn't mean there's a good design involved there.

I won't say a great way to earn money. If you're really good and are good with networking and freelancing then the pay would be good. I'd get a few books on graphic designing and watch some videos on Youtube about Photoshop/InDesign/Illustator.

I thought OP you had a method to share for learning graphic designing, looking at the way you posted the thread title but....

Start with tutorials. That's the way I did it. But you have to be passionate about it.

Being able to use PS does not make you a graphic designer, if you are really interested then go to college to study it.
