Best web hosts for email marketing?

I want to open a VPS account with a host that's reliable. I have several email newsletters that go out to subscribers (nospam) + several email notifications.

Which hosts are email-friendly? I don't mind paying more for a good host. Is there are list somewhere that compares hosts? Do any of them limit or throttle email sends?

MOST of your "unlimited" web hosting plans are going to give you about 500 emails per hour, no more. Depending on your requirements it may be cheaper to use some dedicated hosting so you don't have to worry about any type of limits.

Did a bit of research on this myself...

VPS & dedicated will have no email limits.(they might throttle you if you spam though)

I second that. Probably cheaper (no need to purchase SMTP relays/server), inbox rate higher, no headache with setting stuff up. Especially Mailchimp inboxes quite well but requires very clean lists, or insta-ban.

I've been in the email game for several years and have used tons of ESPs. Having your own server (VPS or dedicated) is infinitely cheaper than ESPs. Some of them charge as much as 1c/email. Even if it's 1/10th of a cent or less, it's still too expensive when doing volume in the millions.

Answer totally depends upon the list.. if you have a legit list then you can use any of reputed service but if your list is purchased then you need Server with ip rotation.

My list is legit but out of a million emails there's always 3 or 4 people who complain which ruins my rep sometimes with the ISP.

I will look into the hosts above. I'm curious though. Do you know of any hosts that provide IP rotation, or is there a guide on how to set it up?

Actually, I'd like to avoid cheap hosts. I don't mind paying money for quality. So far I like A Small Orange. They seem legit. I'd like recommendation for more high-quality hosts like that. Price is not a problem, I don't mind paying more.

If the list is profitable it's still best to go with a proper email service, I find they have a much higher open rate and go into the spam folder less.

There are number of web hosting available for email marketing . you can choose them according to your requirements ...

I prefer to use Godaddy .. that works fine for me ..

Not an option, my volume is too big. Dedicated servers can work just as well as long as you set up basics properly like SPF and DKIM and monitor the IP's rep.
