I am trying to set up ultimate niche finder. I purchased 10 proxies from squidproxies. I can not get the proxies to work in the software. Here are the instructions emailed from squidproxies

To get started:1. Login to the VIP control panel.
2. Click "Authorized IPs"
3. Click "[Add to auth list]" to add your IP and save.
4. Start using the proxies listed under "Proxies"

They also provided me with a numerical userID and password to access my proxy list in their back end. I am assuming this is the same user ID and password niche finder is looking for. I tried adding a txt file with out the username and password and with the username and password. It will not connect either way. Any help is appreciated.

thank you

probably those proxies you are using banned by the site the UNF using or the ips you had PORT blocked on your system ;)

It's better to ask your proxy provider ;)

Hi Bizeball,

This is from our FAQ
[h=4]How do I import the proxies to UNF?[/h]For private proxies with authentication, please use Windows Notepad and enter them in the following format, one proxy per line:
IP:PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD

For public proxies or proxies without authentication, please use:
IP:PORT

Then save the file as .txt and use the Import from .txt button available under the Proxies tab. Please also use the Test button to test them prior to using them.

If this doesn't work, e-mail your provider and see if there is a problem. Also, sometimes it takes 1-2 hours before the proxies are live.

UNF check their proxy through SEOMOZ. You if your proxies showing failed than seomoz banned your proxy. Ask for the replacement.

I'm planning to buy a keyword tool, and I'm thinking how does this check competition? Does it look at the number of competing pages (not really accurate)? Does it look at the On-Page SEO of the top 3 pages? Does it check out how many backlinks they have? etc.?
