i'm neither a developer nor volunteer of GSA. thats simply not true. the dev is Sven and S4nt0s is his sales man.

i'm just a heavy user and everything i did in terms of forum support, beta testing or improving/adding scripts i did on a free basis (believe it or not).

i suggest that everyone makes his own picture of each software. i just told what i was experiencing.
thats my last post in this thread as i think that everything is said.

sorry, I swear I read somewhere that you were a developer. my mistake :o . and yes I agree everyone should just decide themselves, and if you are going to be using a captcha solving tool a lot then its probably best to get both of them and run your own test.

Mikey if you have so much beef with GSA why do you have them listed as partners?

I use CS x4 and I am getting great results. I'm using it with GSA and I am getting a great number of links created. I'm sure CB is a good product too but I have not personally tried it out. CS does look like the better option here but I haven't crunched any numbers. Honestly you can't go wrong with either one.

Mikey provides great support and a hell of a product I'm surprised anyone can find anything to complain about.

Everyone has their own opinion but I think the difference is negligible until recaptcha starts getting solved with any kind of reliability. Both are still great products until then!

WTF? I never thought CS could be a bad tool ! This tool is amazing:
Of course, it is not accurate with recaptcha, but it is really fast and accurate for all other type of captcha.
You can do a lot of things: use your PC as a "free captcha breaking service" for all your servers, automated OCR ...

I am a happy buyer, the only problem that I had was an incompatibility of CS with a drastic configuration of Comodo and Mikey answered me quickly and even added me on skype to help me.

I can't believe you sent out an email linking to this thread...

As I've said before, the first software that can do recaptcha wins, and that's the bottom line.

Then there will likely never be a 'winner'. The minute either app adds recaptcha at a decent rate, goog will reply with one of their unseen 'in the pipeline' variants, rendering the algo useless, and this would happen within 24 hours.

Awfully negative point of view. I own both products and prefer someone who is trying to push the envelope rather than someone who says that it can't be done.

thats reality and the current bottleneck .. got a solution? thats the same stance as the other product too by the way ..

If I had a solution I wouldn't be asking for a solution. :) I don't believe the bottleneck is being able to develop a solution that gets patched. I don't think anyone has developed a solution so that seems to be a lack of development.

Whos on first? Whats on second? I dont knows on third :)

Personally I think both GSA and CS are top the line products that save me a shit ton of money. I've used CS3 for awhile now at least a year on a buddies server and the results were good. Then come along GSA and of course there results were also good.

Then when CSX4 came out I purchased a license and put it to the test, after tweaking a bit and getting it set the way I want it, my success rates now are higher than GSA. Right now CSX4 at least in my runs is beating GSA for accuracy and solve rates, and is a bit faster. So right now Mikey has the edge IMO, and I personally like the interface more with CS than GSA.

Honestly right now Mikey's product is on top for me nowdays, due to the speed, solve rate, and his interaction with his customers.
Not at all saying anything bad about GSA as there constantly updating there product as well.

Personally at the end of the day everyone wins , Mikey's constant updating pushes GSA and Vice versa.
I just don't believe its worth a big argument as nobody wins like that in the end.

Ok i know this is a bit out of focus but, is there any vid tutorials ? I'm trying it right now and i need to enter the captcha that ain't working into CDK

Thanks

EDITED:

Found one on YT, watching it right now...

I know a guy who has a recaptcha OCR working at about 50% success rate, but because its recaptcha he only rents it for about $100 a week. He has a thread here:

Yeah, this developer directed us to this thread that he took over with evil biased point of view. Maybe this is his other account...hmmm.

I know him and speak to hmi often. Same problem with before, if this becomes integrated into CS, goog will immediately patch it. Im sorry, but they (goog) have more resources than GSA, CS and BHW combined.

Enough already, clearly you're not a fan. I only have one account and I'm far from evil .... hmmmm

Hey Mike,

I found some bugs and problems in The latest version X4..

1- Ucenter >> success rate should be 93% but now it's 0%
2- PHPizabi >> success rate should be 100% but now it's 0%
3- Oxwall >> success rate should be 62% but now it's 0%
4- Elgg >> success rate should be 40% but now it's 0%

I tried the Oxwall on the old version X3 and it's working good though so I guess it's a small bug in X4 that needs to be fixed.

Please , I can't wait for the next update 3/4 months later to have these bugs fixed. I need your help to fix these issues at least on my copy asap. I'm a heavy user of these platforms ( specially Oxwall & PHPizabi ) so I need them badly in my work.

Thanks for the heads up, Im aware of these and have a quick fix for you, so please contact me via skype ~ imbotz ~ so I can get you sorted ..... and when did you ever wait 3/4 months for a big fix? Not with CS I'm afraid :)

Edit ... here a db for you to use: just unzip and replace your existing one:

http://www.captchasniper.com/CaptchaSniperDB64BIT.zip

Also, if you can send me some Oxwall samples as it seems there is another variant that CS doesnt have added yet :)
