I've been using a script on iMacro for the last couple months... It uses Statigram, Followgram and Gramfeed. It's a bot that likes and comments photos. It works great and I get tons of "likes" back but it also gains me fake followers. In the last month, I've probably gained 20k followers of which 90% of them are fake. How do I stop this? I've done some searching and some threads say that it's because of the tags I'm using. But I can't really get any clarification of this.

This isn't just affecting the folks who are running a script this is affecting everybody on Instagram I have over 50,000 followers right now and I'm getting feedback from my own community that their accounts are getting attacked as well and they're just regular Instagrammers! We have to wait this out, it looks like it comes with the territory... Or so I've learned!

It's a script you run using the IMacros plugin for Firefox or Chrome! It's probably the best free resource you'll find in the black hat forums.. It's netted me quite a few followers without having to pay for anything!
learn how to use it and take the time to endure the short learning curve! It's worth it!!

As people are using bots to target people with specific keywords, you can't be surprised that you're gaining "Fake Followers" people with fake accounts are following based on keywords and so when you post a pic with hashtags they will home in on your account, it does suck i agree!

Go on your profile, press the button on the right which is the one about pics of you posted by others, now press menu and set it up like: "Pics needs my approval before appearing here". Doing this you would only receive the notification but there won't be any pictures appearing there.

For sure, and if you do as I said you would like not even notice them.At least not as annoying as following you a thousand times.
