I've seen alot of people here have lots of accounts with lots of real followers I was wondering how do you do it ?

I personally use a bot called Critter, but it's not that good I've only ever gotten about 500 followers with it..

So mind pointing me in the direction of a a way to gain real twitter followers ?

Thanks for the advice on the site. I'm going to try the silver out for a month. I'm already loosing sleep over this cool site. How many should I follow if I have a new account?

The best way to get followers is to follow people in your niche, influential people and normal people. Another way to get followers and likes on Facebook is to make a Giveaway contest. You could giveaway cash, themes or anything related to your niche. For the giveaway use RaffleCopter.

I'm not sure if it's still working anymore, but if you have a budget, tweetadder + some private proxies worked wonders for my twitter accounts.

Tweetadder was great, but the recent updates make it fairly useless now. You cant automate your follows or unfollows anymore. It doesnt really make sense to drop money on it as its well on its way on the Downward Spiral. Just my 2 cents

Post relevant tweets, be interesting, consistent and not spammy. Like others said, follow people in your niche and followers of followers. I also liked the idea of running a content, getting some retweets for that will bring in more followers too. But I'd say most important is relevant, interesting tweets.

If you're in a smaller niche, then following people in that same niche could be helpful. Otherwise, it takes time and a bit of money. If your account is something like a comedy account or a quote account, then "followback followers" (people that followed you because you followed them) are basically worthless. Those kind of followers are virtually unmonetizable, and the only real purpose that kind of account could serve would be to Retweet other accounts to those followers, in hopes that they will follow that account.

If you want to gain, contact large accounts and buy shout-outs and Retweets from them. There are some out there with really good prices that can gain you ~500-1000 followers from a single RT.

I just followed a massive amount of people and put up good content. Mostly quotes and funny statements so people can retweet, then new people will follow you to see what you say next.
