How many FB likes before you even think about monetizing?

So I made a new page on Saturday and as of right now I have a little over 5K likes in just 3 days. It seems like it is growing quickly.

Now my question is when should I start monetizing the page and how? I was thinking make a site related to the page and throw some adsense ad's on it, but I'm not sure if that's the best way to go about it. I'm new to this and any advise would be great. Thanks.

You cant promote the affiliate product on FB ..but you can if you use iframe and like this stuff.

It depends who are the people that like your page, it is not just about numbers. Also, if you start spamming your page with crap you can forget about gowing your page.

It's an gaming related page with a certain targeted audience. And ya I definitely don't want to spam the page, so I was thinking make a website to direct the audience to and make the money from the website rather than the Facebook page. But I'm not sure if this is the best way of going about this.
