Used it on a site that had ranked on page 1 and 2 for various keywords, but had fallen out of the top 50 pages. I picked 3 KWs, not my primary KWs, but 3 longer tailed KWs. Here is the immediate progress on those 3 KWs:

Keyword1 - Before: not in top 100; Now: #62

Kw 1: 1000 searhes - from #3 to #1.

I was a bit worried but after all the sites were indexed I went from Past top 100 to top 10 for all my keywords. I can honestly say even after the new Google update, my sites are top 10.
