yea amazon stopped doing business with IL because they made a state tax for all internet business

Tell the truth that have no idea if I'm far smarter than this idea or too fool to get this understand well,this is basic skills IMO...well, the Ads title is Acer Laptop on sell at $329 and this will attract someone to call you or get into your site,yet as they get into the site and if they will leave in a short while if they don't find out the $329 laptop which attract them in ？ and seems there will be few people will stay on the site if the Acer laptop not found within 5 seconds, for I will leave in this situation...so ?

I can post ads w/ only one CL account right? You recommend I post in other cities too?
I've read the entire thread post to post and only found that 2011nfl posts with one account, but I want to maximize profit by posting to other cities. Answer, please :)

This is amazing. Im totally going to give this a try. I know this goes without saying, (hopefully for most of us) but this method is not so much about selling stuff through classifieds, but it is more so a great way for generating traffic to your sales page whether its selling on amazon, ebay, etc. And with more than just consumer electronics (trading cards, textbooks, pretty much anything you can find through a Chinese manufacutre/wholeseller. Im going to be using this as another traffic generating method for my ebay listings. never thought of doing it through Amazon though. Not a bad idea.

I mean, this way the customer doesn't need to copy and paste it. They only need to click the link.

SIGH!... Who said it had to be Amazon. Best buy has an affiliate program and I am sure you can find tons of items besides a damn acer laptop that has some type of aff program (besides Amazon) that you can join.

You have to use your head and take the basics that the OP posted and twist it into your own method.

If you absolutely wanna send them to amazon because of the name. You can create a squidoo lens and get 4.25% of all amazon sales made through your lens. I was doing a basic search and found that you do not even have to send them to your lens to get it credited to your squidoo account.

Create your site and post images that lead to your squid referral link. Just be aware that squidoo may lock your account at anytime and you will lose those commissions.... Stick with their tos and play by the rules and you should be fine.

Gents,

A lot of people say "it does not work". As repeated by several warriors, you must think OUT OF THE BOX.

Problem: People visit my site but I have no sale on Amazon
Solution: Incitate them to buy the good item. Convince them that's easy.

Example with the Acer laptop. You "sell" it 239$ in your ads, the guy come on your crappy site (a personal blog works!), and see one of your post (between the life of your red fishes and your last holidays) saying:

SORRY, I DO NOT SALE MY LAPTOP ANYMORE

Indeed, nobody was interested, so I ended to give my laptop so a member of my family. Why? Because someone told me that this Acer is sold on Amazon for only 339$ and contains a lot of additional stuff such as
- more RAM memory
- other thing
- other thing

<link or image leading to the affiliated Acer>

It is really not expansive, so I prefered to do a gift than selling it for nothing!

The guy will say: "hmmm, it is right, for 100$ more I have a lot of things, and a full new laptop. Let's see again the laptop?" => click => buy
 
It is called "compliance" in marketing. The guy wanted to buy the laptop for 239$, then, through logical arguments, you convince him to put an additional 100$ (or 200$ if you want).
In marketing, the main difficulty is not the price, it is the first buying decision.
 
Finally finished reading this thread. Gonna wake up early and dedicate the whole day to this method. Penguin 2.0 obliterated my SEO game, so some extra income would be nice.
