So auto blogs are dead but what about auto video blogs & auto image blogs are they dead too?

You need a twist as I posted on a similar thread android aps etc

You need to be updating the blogs yourself as well. Even if they're autoblogs, create a section on your site that you manage manually. Mix it up a bit.

Don't expect any traffic from Google. They can still work as long as you're generating traffic from sources other than search engines such as social media or forums.

i just set up an autoblog using ifttt (3 recipes: rss feeds from 10 other sites to my blogger site... my blogger site to my facebook page... my facebook page to my twitter page). so all my traffic comes from my facebook and twitter page. Problem now is im scared to link my adsense account dont want it to get banned. any suggestions of what ads to run on a autoblog like this.

Course they aren't. Just don't call them "blogs". Even if them run on WP CMS.

What a nonsense. Google just loves video and image sites, and it doesn't care if they are "auto" or not (something like http://www.cyberseo.net/demo/tube-autoblog/ or http://www.cyberseo.net/demo/pinterest-style/). The one and only criteria: they must be really interesting to surfers.

Yes! I have 30 Autoblogs making 30/day. I have only 4 month.
autoblogs died many say is a lie.
speak without knowing
Autoblogs image is the best.

Autoblog's aren't dead, you just have to know how to play by the rules. I have a blog getting 300/400 visits daily with all copied content and most of that traffic is from Google ;)

That's not bad at all. My best video and image self-populated sites on WordPress receive about 3K uniques daily from SE.

Yesterday, I also set up some auto-content using ifttt and it starts to pickup traffic, but not much. The most successful approach for me was when I created a site with unique contents, all visible from the homepage, but also a news section fed by an auto-blog plugin. With this approach, you can even stand a human review of your site.

auto blog is dead.. i am facing it... i receive 000000 visitor per day on my blog

I have to agree auto blogs are not dead if you use them right. I have three auto blogs running on sub domains on my main site. I use auto blogs to pick up traffic for the main site. And add articles from my main site to the auto blogs, so they ping back to my main site.
Also the plug in I use in WP, has a feature where the content feed to the auto blog opens in a light box. Search engines only pick up the headlines. Not the full content. :)

Use this freeware plugin for Youtube video autoblogging: http://wordpress.org/plugins/cybersyn/

I got out of WP Robot auto-blogging and PHP server script YouTube scraped video sites 3 years ago - but I'm heading back to auto-blogging

Things have moved on in the past 3 years, so I'll be using cutting-edge plugins for WordPress

Format is likely to be wordpress silo site with self-populating content and auto back-link building

I'll be building and testing on my own sites first - then release the system to the public in 2014 - probably at $97 for unlimited licence

Summarizing that something's worthless because your blog gets no traffic (avoiding the reasons why) is not how we make our decisions.
Gather what you're doing, and see where you should improve. Don't tell me you set it up, left it alone and it has no visitors therefore it's dead.
Yes it's an old post...I feel quite strongly about people calling things what they're not.

Yea, 000000 visitors a day is more a reflection on you than your site.

Count me in if you need beta testers. I'm big into autoblogging. It pays very well for very little effort

Autoblogging does require certain level of maintenance albeit set & forget method :)
Heck, I will still perform usual backlinking strategies instead of letting it auto-index and gets huge penalty in the end
