Inserting Pictures into posts

Hello, i am using wordpress. And i am wondering if i should insert link when posting pictures, or should i upload the file manually.

Yes, I personally think so. When you host the image elsewhere it can be removed or deleted without you knowing. Say you have a free account on photobucket. They will stop showing the image after a certain amount of bandwidth has been used. You're in more control and can add the correct tags, filename, etc.
