I'm going to go there in a month. Is there anything you'd really stress about me seeing besides the obvious (empire state, liberty, etc)? I've never been.

Certainly going to walk down Wall Street and check out the NYSE. Any thing else? Business or not business related?

Come to my neighborhood and walk around Columbus Circle/Central Park South ;)
Also, alot of people come to Times Square.
Get a escort or something, idk lol

Yep, got Central Park and Times Square.

Depends on whether you are tourist oriented or more 'location niche' oriented. If you are a generalist, and want the most efficient tour of the basic hotspots, make arrangements to get on a tour bus which will drive you directly to every famous spot you could think of between midtown and lower Manhattan. Public buses or subway could get you around cheaper, but not as efficiently, so you'd have to have more like a week to spare to adequately roam around. But if you want to just scour the museums, it would be better to just take the train to Central Park East and visit the Metropolitan and other institutions along 5th Ave.

If you have the budget, I would reserve a spot at the ninja restaurant.

I went there two years ago I believe it was and it was AWESOME. It's ridiculously expensive but definitely worth it if you want to spend the money :)

Being a NYC native I can tell you that I certainly take the beautiful city for granted. I'd suggest doing all the touristy things like you mentioned such as the ESB, SoL, Etc.. But most of all, the nightlife in NYC is incredible, the right club, bar, and you'll have a great time. Or, if you are looking to relax than chilling in any of the MANY parks would be nice.

Umm what else is there to see besides me? Just kidding :) Hmm depends what you are into. I would definitely check out lower Manhattan. Union Square is fun...so is Chelsea. Maybe go to Brooklyn? I love Park Slope.

definitely go to central park.
chinatown is also a very interesting place to see.
battery park is pretty cool also, since it's at the most southern part of manhattan island.
and be sure to get some pizza :)

I remember when I went a few years back with my family! :) It was a great bonding experience tbh.

Anyways, we pretty much walked a lot of places that we thought was pretty cool since the city is kinda small we just figured walking would be great and I'll tell you it was. We also got on one of the tour buses and saw all the great places they give tours on. Along with that, they have stops where you can hop off and on whenever you like so you can stop at a famous place and just stick around if you wanted.

One of the places we went to was a park near John Lenon's apartment, where he got killed. It was a chill experience :)

Have a lot of fun, my friend :) These memories stick!

You can visit TriBeCa, and Rockefeller Center, and then you can get into and go to Top of the Rock where you can see the whole city, it is a better view than in the Empire State in my opinion and it is usually less crowded. Also I love Upper East Side and walking around Madison Avenue is just the best

Make sure to go to the bronx zoo and eat some of the italian food on arthur avenue by the zoo!

and if you love high energy bars bleeker street at night is the place to be!
