YT + PPD niches. Help selecting good keywords!

Hey guys I'm after some help.

I've made 5 vids over 5 different niches (games/hack/cracks niche if you would believe it...!) and have got 3 to first page of google, positions 1-3.

Now, the thing is I'm hardly getting any traffic! I don't know if I have targeted the wrong keywords or something? I've read that over 2k exact matches should bring in a decent amount of clicks but I'm only getting 1, maybe 2 a day on my file and obviously no conversions.

I'd like to think my videos are HQ, showing proof and using my own voice, and my landing pages are pretty decent too compared to others I have looked at in my niches.

Anyone have any tips to help me find good niches? Am I targeting keywords with too little searches a month?

I have typed in the keywords using different PCs to search google.co.uk and they are correct. I've also used USA proxies to check. And to get the exact matches I used Google Keyword Tool with all countries and exact matches ticked. That's correct i think?

For the file its through the PPD network. And my landing page is currently a blogger so I'm using the analytics on that.

Ill give you a breakdown of stats from one of my niches.

Niche exact global monthly searches from google keyword tool: 5400

My position on google: 3rd which is my YouTube video.

Blogger analytics: 30 referrals from my YouTube video. 1 referral from google.com and 1 referral from google.com.tr.

Obviously I'm not bothered about my referrals from google at the mo because I haven't promoted the landing page at all.

I thought being 3rd on google would give my video some decent traffic and then they would follow the link on the description but that doesn't seem to be true!

Things I can think of is my video sucks (I don't think it does) or I'm not targeting a good enough keyword?

stop fucking worrying about it and move on to the next keywords... keep trying testing and you will find your very own answers within a period of time.

Yeh I get that. I guess I'm asking what makes a good keyword? Is 2k monthly global searches high enough? Or do I need to be looking for keywords in the region of 20k+?
