Ahh the endless trolling that will take place with this, and anyone realize that google glass is just the new douchy Bluetooth earpiece so I guess this is douchbag 2.0 but I wonder if the google glass OS can get a virus I imagine seeing hipsters on the subway wearing this thing.

Why so much hate on BHW for google glasses? They are going to make ar glasses more popular and more manufacturers will be coming out with their own versions. Plus think of all the cool stuff you can do with them. For example lets say you see a nice girl in public, you can take a pic of her, have it sent real time to your personal cloud that does facial recognition on her and finds out if she is single or not. Of course you will have to build a computer network system that uses ramdisk for storage and a good gpu that accelerates facial recognition scan and sends back pictures she is in it. And then you will also have to download every single club photo from the city your in and nearby cities.
It will take a while, but why not use google glasses to help collect vast amount of data on people.

And that's the biggest reason why Google Glass is a bad thing. Especially with the existence of ties between the NSA and Google. People would unwittingly be doing surveillance on Americans, and gathering data on them, without even knowing it. Most people won't respond too well to such invasions of privacy either.

I don't think Google Glass is a nice invention.
Consider the following scenario: You are in a party, you're drunk and a friend of yours is having Google Glass, you made some crazy stuff and you're being captured in a video with his Glasses.
Would you dare to experience that? I guess no.

The NSA doesnt give a f*ck about 99.999% of americans,they don't even care about the average criminal or wanted person. For every picture,audio file,video etc. that the NSA gets a person has to go over it to know what it really is.

The only reason I would wear something this stupid looking is if I were driving and it gave me navigation assistance and data on my vehicle. That would be cool. I could imaging accidents taking place because people would be distracted though.

Personally, I wouldn't feel comfy around people wearing them but I can defiantly see my ads in front of someone's eyeball >
Being in the aviation industry I can think of a whole lot of things I would use them for. Basically a HUD on your face! Traffic, terrain, Nav, comms, all right there </drool>
